Depending on the material quality, graphite seals are used at 450°C to 500°C in the high temperature range, approx. 1000°C, mica quality is used.

Possibilities of graphite seals:

pure graphite gaskets – without metallic insert
graphite gaskets with – expanded metal inlay, spit sheet inlay, smooth sheet inlay (sungle and multi – layer)
